Project 1: Logo Redesign

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: For this project, we were asked to select a non-proft organization that we felt needed some help with rebranding. My selected organization was Give Hope, Fight Poverty, a service group focused on helping orphaned children in Africa. The objective for this project was to give a fresh new identity to the organization, while emphasizing the existing core ideals of the organization.

My concept for the logo came about after doing word associations for the organization, focusing on the words “growth”, “warmth”, and “interconnectedness”. The design features an organic line formation interacting with the letters “GHFP”. There are sun rays emenating above the “GH” to suggest the warmth that the company brings to the people they help.
